Hours: 40 Hours p/w Monday to Friday with availability for on-call outside of normal working hours.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Routine road maintenance of activities.
  • Winter maintenance activities.
  • Install, maintain & removal of temporary traffic management.

Requirements:

  • Full, clean ‘B’ Driving license essential.
  • Full, clean ‘C’ Driving license preferred.
  • Traffic Management experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working in Civil Construction or Motorway/Road Maintenance desirable.

Role & Responsibilities

  • General: Reporting to the General Manager, this role ensures adherence to contractual obligations, KPIs, and continuous improvement in Health & Safety (H&S). Responsibilities include legislative reviews, annual reports, third-party application evaluations, and coordination of depot and external work. The role also involves facilitating bi-monthly senior management meetings.

This role offers the opportunity to drive key initiatives in a dynamic environment, ensuring operational excellence and compliance across multiple domains.

  • Health & Safety: Conduct annual reviews of the company’s Safety Statement and Construction, Health and Safety Plan and Risk Assessment Register. Review permits for site work and MSRAs are fit for purpose. Carry out site inspections and audits for works and operatives’ compliance including but not limited to permits, CSCS’s, and inductions.  Undertake completion of thorough examinations of vehicles, lifting equipment and calibration checks of weighbridge and barrier equipment.  Lead depot inspections and Safety Meetings in liaison with the Safety Representative/s.  Complete accident investigations including reporting.   
  • Training Compliance: Manage training records, toolbox talks, and monthly training planning for the company. Companywide monitoring and planning of training.
  • Quality: Complete quality submissions to Client. Conduct internal audits and programs.  Manage external audits including but not limited to NSAI and ISO recertification.  Facilitate and attend monthly Quality meetings.  Complete ISO annual surveillance/recertification audits.
  • Environmental & Energy: Lead Environmental and Energy meetings. Maintain Chemical Register including reviews and checks as part of site audits.  Manage pesticide use including DAFM Operatives and PCS Numbers.  Complete monthly reports – general and energy.  Ensure ISO 50001 yearly reviews and KPI’s are consistently achieved.  Sustainability reporting.

Requirements

  • Full, clean ‘B’ Driving license essential
  • Level 8 Degree in Health & Safety with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
  • Post grad education in environmental, energy or sustainability disciplines an advantage
  • 3 years of operations and maintenance experience – an advantage
  • Winter maintenance experience an advantage
  • Traffic management experience an advantage
  • Excellent communication and IT skills

Role & Responsibilities

  • General: The role of the Network Engineer is to support the Renewals and Liaison Manager and the Lead Network Engineer in the delivery of the MMaRC Gen 2 Contract and directly managing sections of the contract as allocated, including public lighting maintenance and Instructed Works Orders.

 

  • Managing the Public Lighting maintenance.
  • Managing the Vehicle Restraint System replacement (Costings, Training etc).
  • Managing of EIWO’s that are completed by Globalvia Jons, this will include the following:
    • Preparing contractor requests, monthly measures and final costs;
    • Preparation of method statements and preparation of permit to works;
    • Road space booking and Gantry Bookings;
    • Submitting MAR approvals;
    • Managing direct and sub-contractor workforces;
    • Inspection of site works and quality control; Updating RMMS;
    • Managing of all OIWO’s carried out by Globalvia Jons;
    • Responsible for the implementation and control of the procurement system;
    • Providing cover for the Support Engineer during absence;
    • Assist with the Department’s Sections of the Monthly Operations Report;
    • On call duties as required.

 

Requirements

  • Full, clean ‘B’ Driving license essential
  • Relevant Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent
  • Understanding and practical knowledge of managing civil engineering projects, stakeholder liaison, health & safety regulations and coordination of works following best practice
  • Meticulous approach to administration and record keeping
  • 3 years of operations and maintenance experience – an advantage
  • Winter maintenance experience an advantage
  • Traffic management experience an advantage
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
